    In August 2024, Lynch revealed he had been diagnosed with emphysema, a chronic lung condition often linked to long-term smoking. He candidly discussed his health struggles, mentioning that he had been homebound due to the disease and could “hardly walk across a room.” Despite these challenges, Lynch remained creatively active, releasing an orchestral album titled Cellophane Memories in August 2024.

    Born on January 20, 1946, in Missoula, Montana, David Lynch’s career spanned over five decades, leaving an indelible mark on the film industry.
